Our Curriculum

We make learning fun! While we are play-based learning centre, we integrate and inspired by four different learning philosophies - HighScope, Montessori, Waldorf and Reggio Emilia - to enhance and encourage children's learning.

Our Curriculum Goals
Our goal is to offer a program that meets the intellectual, moral, social, emotional, and physical needs of each child.  Our curriculum planning involves the integration of long- term and short-term decisions with daily emergent responses to children’s interests and ideas. Teachers facilitate a balance approach to incorporate children’s voices, ideas and interests with teacher-led focus for learning.  Creating opportunities for children to take an active role in decision-making is important, as the greater degree of choice that children have in their learning, the greater the degree of involvement in their learning.

Knowledge Tree
Educating a child is like growing a knowledge tree.  Drops of individual knowledge at the roots, it continues to develop and grow with many branches and leaves.

Our curriculum is continually evolving by qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educators. They are highly involved in planning and improving our educational tools and materials, which provide children with opportunities to discover, explore, experiment, develop their competency, independence and creativity.

Letterland
Letterland is a unique, phonics-based approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling. The Letterland characters transform plain black letter shapes into child-friendly pictograms. They all live in an imaginary place called "Letterland". Letterland character stories explain letter sounds & shapes, allowing children to progress quickly to word building, reading and writing.

Universal values are the base of “Life Skills” development; personal, social and emotional developments. Life skills are much necessary for children to deal positively and effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life.

Language program introduces our students to basic simple vocabulary through songs, finger plays and props. We make it fun to learn.

Chef Jr. helps young children learn and practice some basic math concepts and build language skills. The experience of creating meals help build their self-confidence, and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits.

  • Outdoor play
  • Gym
We recognize and value the importance of a physical active lifestyle, and the significance of children’s physical fitness. Our unique indoor gym provides physical activities to motivate children to not only be active, but to also experience the joy of activity.
  • Practical Life
  • Sensorial

We adapt Montessori's practical life and sensorial components to encourage our children to participate in activities that allow them to grow independently and use their motor skills. These activities also allow them to analyze difficulties they may have in the exercise and problem solve successfully.

Sign Language Dictionary
Babies and young children have already using simple hand gestures, or sign language to communicate as young as 5 months old! To enhance this ability to communicate, we included basic simple sign language into our curriculum through singing and during social interactions.
